7.5 Syncing Data between EMAS Accounting & Inventory and EMAS.net

 

Customer and Sales Person/Agent data are automatically synchronised between EMAS.net and EMAS Accounting & Inventory. Changes that are made in one system will be seen in the other.

 

To facilitate the initial transfer of data when first using the system and to periodically update EMAS.net if there are changes to data in EMAS Accounting & Inventory, the ‘Sync Data’ option will be used.

 

 

You can access the ‘Sync Data’ page from the side menu.

 

 


7.5.1 Determining if Synchronisation is Necessary

 

The last column next to the checkbox indicates whether synchronisation is necessary.

 

Indicates that no synchronisation is necessary

Indicates that changes have been made to EMAS and synchronisation is necessary

Indicates that users will have to manually check if synchronisation is needed.

 

To synchronise data, simply click on the respective checkbox to select the data you wish to sync. Click on ‘Synchronise’ to complete the process. After doing so, you will see a message on the top of the screen informing you that it has been completed.
